EDITORIAL PRAXIS is a leading scientific publishing house in the Dominican Republic, established to institutionalize, manage, and project highly specialized intellectual and scientific output in Health Sciences and related disciplines. Directly affiliated with the academic and research ecosystem of Revista Praxis (revistapraxis.org), the publisher consolidates a comprehensive publishing platform encompassing serial publications, research monographs, university textbooks, and clinical dissemination works.

As a benchmark of excellence, Editorial Praxis aligns its operations with international editorial management standards, serving as a scientific interconnection node for researchers, faculty, and healthcare professionals across the Caribbean and Latin America.

2. Organizational Structure and Editorial Governance

The editorial governance of EDITORIAL PRAXIS is grounded in a collegiate and independent structure that guarantees methodological rigor, transparency, and scientific quality:

• Editorial Direction and Governing Board

The governing body responsible for strategic planning, editorial policy formulation, adherence to ethical principles, and institutional representation before international indexing databases and scientific bodies.

• International Scientific Advisory Committee

An advisory body composed of distinguished researchers and scholars affiliated with national and international institutions. Its primary mandate is to guide priority publishing tracks and audit the academic quality of published works.

• Copyediting and Technical Production Team

A specialized unit responsible for copyediting, layout design, editorial typesetting, scientific diagramming, XML/HTML markup, DOI assignment, and metadata management within OJS/OMP platforms.

• Roster of External Peer Reviewers

An international network of independent subject-matter experts tasked with conducting double-blind peer review, ensuring impartial, rigorous, and qualified assessments.

The catalog of EDITORIAL PRAXIS is structured into three main tracks of intellectual output:

All editorial decisions and workflows strictly comply with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science:
